Die „Klinik der Solidarität“ im nordgriechischen Thessaloniki wurde im Herbst 2011 von engagierten Kolleg_innen aus dem Sozial- und Gesundheitsbereich gegründet. Die Ambulanz wird von den behandelnden Ärzt_innen, Krankenpfleger_innen und Therapeut_innen selbstverwaltet geführt. Bis zu 100 Patient_innen nehmen täglich die Leistungen der Ambulanz in Anspruch.
Wegen fehlenden Versicherungsschutzes und massiver Einsparungen im Gesundheitssystem nimmt die Zahl der Patient_innen stetig zu. Die Gesundheitsambulanz versteht sich als politisches Projekt und setzt sich neben der konkreten Arbeit in der Ambulanz auch aktiv gegen Gesundheits- und Sozialabbau, Rechtsextremismus und Rassismus ein.

The ‚Solidarity Clinic‘ in Thessaloniki in northern Greece was established in the autumn of 2011 by committed colleagues in the health and social care sector. The walk-in clinic is self-managed and run by the attending doctors, nurses and therapists. Up to 100 patients a day take advantage of the services offered by the walk-in clinic.
Because of the lack of health insurance protection and massive cuts to the healthcare system, the number of patients is steadily increasing. This clinic sees itself as a political project and is committed to, in addition to the actual work of the clinic, being active against health and welfare cuts, right-wing extremism and racism.
