The protesting Non-Citizens (Germany): Meeting With Parliamentarians – Volume 1

Since Sunday the CSU owns the total majority and knows how to use it. One of the first official acts was the try to sabotage the meeting between Non-Citizens and delegates of Bavarian Parliament. So they practiced massive pressure on SPD, so that this party cancelled the booking of the room inside the Bavarian Parliament. Despite this clear sign, which was put by the Interior Ministry according to the “hard line” against refugees, the meeting nevertheless took place in OneWorldHouse – like we Non-Citizens are used to it, walls, barriers and borders we are just breaking down or removing.

Apart from CSU three more parties, different media, Alexander Thal from Bavarian Refugee Council as moderator, translators and 7 people vote by the group of Non-Citizens participated in the meeting. Tiggist Belay Demissie, Arash Dosthossein, Mehdi Bagherzadeh Ansari, Gholam Ali Heydari, Ghlam Vali, Robert Seko and Kaveh Saberi represented the protesting Non-Citizens. The delegates from Bavarian Parliament are Martin Neumeyer (CSU), Isabell Zacharias (SPD), Hans Jürgen Fahn (FW) and Margarethe Bause (GRÜNE).

We, Non-Citizens started with our argumentation concerning  Residenzpflicht, Beleiberecht and all the points about our bad life condition. Like Lager, food packets, working-prohibition, education. The three parties from opposition agreed mainly with our demands. Mr. Martin Neumeyer, he was the last, acclaimed in using empty rhetoric that it would be important to take care about the remarkable situation of asylum. During the meeting he got wised up by Alexander Thal that concerning to §23 Residence Act the asylum-process is also in his responsibility. By facing him, that he can not give away responsibility to the German Federal Parliament Mr. Neumeyer left the meeting without any answer about acceptance of our applications.

Apart from that SPD and GRÜNE affirmed their support by organizing a new meeting with the president of the Federal Agency of Migration and Refugees and a general meeting of Non-Citizens in the Bavarian Parliament while the other parties agreed.

Till all the given promises from all parties are complied, we will tireless keep on fighting. Knowing that we are fighting for a good life, for a human life, for Our Rights.

As long as they do not recognize that – not only in sense of legitimacy – the United Declaration of Human Rights stands above federal and federal state law which let our lives appear like a nightmare.

As long as we break down borders.

As long as we convinced the exclusion of society and the presentation as a useless species.

We are prepared for the next meeting with delegates of the Bavarian Parliament in 2014.

Till this time we will further rise up for our demands, stand up from the bottom of the camps, towards to this subjectivity which should be forbidden to us by the society and state. They can deny a right to stay but they can not deny our active existence as a subject of our own fight for our own rights. Till now we rode out every kind of repression from politicians and police officers. Exactly like this it will be in future. Till we aren´t faced with any repression and discrimination.

On the 17th of September 2013 only a small delegation came to OneWorldHouse but we can become bigger and sit through it – till they are listening to us!

The Struggle For Freedom will continue!
