Dear friends all over the world,
On November 3, 2013, three labor unions, i.e. Kan-Nama (Solidarity Union of Japan Construction and Transport Workers Kansai Area Branch), Minato-Godo (Metal and machinery Workers’ Union in Osaka) and Doro-Chiba (National Railway Motive Power Union of Chiba) issued the statement below at their National Workers Rally and many unions and labor organizations endorsed it thereafter.
We are faced with increasing thrust toward constitutional revision and war, including the Abe administration’s advocacy of collective self-defense.
It is time for labor unions to use muscle to move our society.
We sincerely urge that much more unions endorse the statement.
